Mac virtual cam Skype problem

Hi have just installed OBS on my MacBook Pro. The virtual camera shows up in the menu and when pressing start no error codes are flagged . However when launching Skype (and Zoom) no virtual camera option shows up in the application, just the laptop webcam.I also loaded the NDI option on OBS and enabled NDI in the advanced section of the Skype menu. In addition to the NDI option I also noticed a NewTek NDI option on the OBS site . I haven’t yet tried this option .I’m brand new to OBS so just wondering if I’m missing anything obvious?

in addition to the webcam I have two Sony 4K cameras attached using cam links , both cameras show up in Skype and Zoom apps directly and in the Obs app however the OBS virtual camera doesn’t show as an option in Skype and zoom .

Have now gt Zoom running thanks to a helpful forum member , I upgraded to t’he latest version of zoom and the virtual camera appeared. However I cannot get Skype to work , do I need to install NewTek NDI?
