I am a new music streamer. The DAW software I use is Reaper. I use a Mac. I’m trying to get my plugins and tracks to play from Reaper and into OBS. I know this Is possible because I’ve watched tons of tutorials on this. Here’s the pattern I’m seeing with the tutorials. I find tutorials that say how to connect Reaper to OBS but they’re using a PC and the Reaper ReaPlugs they say you need for streaming only work for PC even though Reaper works with Mac. Then I find tutorials on how to connect your DAW to OBS with a Mac BUT they’re not using Reaper. They’re usually using LogicProX. I’ve learned a lot about the softwares to download like Black Hole audio and setting up multi media output. But I still, for the life of me, cannot get any tracks or plugins from Reaper to play into OBS. OBS recognizes my VST plugins but I can’t hear it and it’s not just the plugins that I want. I want to play anything from reaper into OBS. I just want to figure out if there is a way to be a music streamer using Mac, Reaper and OBS before I invest in LogicPro. Thank you all!
