I noticed when my 2011 Mac Mini silently upgraded from 10.12 to 10.13 my HDMI capture card stopped working
I'm using one of those generic $10 eBay ones from China.
Also I noticed problems with my S-Video capture not working right too.
Then I read somewhere that other companies were having problems continuing to work in 10.13.
Some people say it has to do with security issues and it just blanketly cuts off all analog connections.
Does this mean computers that ride in 10.12 or lower will be in higher demand for classic streamers?
I heard no analog solutions work as of 10.13 maybe even 10.12. I have 10:11 on my computer that could receive analog video games.
Just wondering is downgrading to 10.11 or 10.12 the only answer to getting these things working or can I upgrade to higher Mac OS's and have both analog and digital devices working?
Why do I think there's something more going on because a camera app could see the fact that there is a camera plugged in the USB port or in this case a capture card that the computer thinks is a camera and then using any app just has a black screen but taking out the camera gets rid of the slot for the camera so the OS recognizes the camera just the image is not permitted.
