Question / Help Mac+OBS+Elgato

Why doesn't OBS see my elgato? If they are gonna provide us with OBS on our MAC then they should fix this issue so we can use the elgato. I have tried this for months now with no fix. but i can do it just fine on my friends windows PC. it really sucks that we are left out. any solutions please let me know

Elgato does not provide drivers for the Elgato on macOS that enable it to be used with 3rd party applications, only with their own software.
So, you are out of luck, window capturing the elgato software is your only option.
