Hi!
I've been using OBS to run a live streamed event several times already, rocking a M1 Max MacBookPro (64GB RAM) with 3x 4k camera inputs for the stream.
Last week I decided to invest in a dedicated workstation to handle this for the studio space I've built, and I got a Mac mini (M2 Pro 10‑core CPU, 16-core GPU, 16‑core Neural Engine with 16 GB RAM) ... and the computer froze up every 20 mins, the beachball wasn't even moving, the mouse had a 5-10 second input lag. The only thing that worked was a full hard reboot (holding down the power button on the Mac mini). Every time it seemed fine until suddenly it wasn't.
I've uploaded some logs of the event. I'm wondering if the Mac mini just doesn't have the power (RAM? I dunno?) that it needs to run this type of stream. The CPU load while streaming wasn't crazy high... although once it froze I was unable to navigate to the window to check.
I've attached the logs. Before I run out to the Apple Store to swap this computer out for something much more expensive, can anyone confirm if the issue was hardware based or if something else is a problem here?
