Mac Mini 2023 + elgato HD60 X; no video

I recently got a Mac Mini. I have an elgato HD60 X capture card, and OBS isn't detecting its video. I'm not even getting a "No Signal" image from it, and I am able to get a signal from it using QuickTime, so it isn't just the capture card. An audio signal does come through, just not the video. I have tried updating OBS and made sure I got the "Apple Silicon" version, but there is no change in result.

What can I do to fix this issue or is it something the developers need to fix?

I found a solution. What I was doing before was adding a "Capture Card Device" source reading from my elgato. This wasn't picking it up for some reason, but when I instead use a "Video Capture Device" source reading from the elgato, it is able to pick it up. I also need to add another source for "Audio Input Capture" to get the audio, but this setup then works.
