Hello. I tried to solve this problem for days now.
Pls someone help.
Cam works fine. Audio works fine.
But the second I want to make a window capture and record my friend's cam on Discord, it just shows "Item 0" and no cam pic.
So I went to your Discord Community for OBS.
Your automated bot told me to check my privacy settings on Mac.
But they are ALL checked. OBS and Discord both can access everything. I tried restart. I tried everything.
Also this "hardware acceleration" thing solution on Discord.
I tried check the small boxes under the window capture in OBS (shadow something, you can see it in the file) (someone in a forum said it helped).
But nothing.
I tried the solution with the browser source in OBS (Show the discord cam "online").
But that's also not working. Because OBS does not allow this, even if you set Safari on "allow cam".
Is there really no solution to this?
Am I the only one with this problem or is this common issue?
I am totally satisfied with OBS so far. It's great.
But if this problem stays unsolved, I cannot help but change the program and give up on OBS.
