We've just bought an M1 Mac mini for our church live-streaming, so that I don't have to use my personal MacBook to run it. We have also just bought an SQ5 sound desk.
When I connect the SQ5 to my laptop (which is intel) via USB, everything works. The USB sends sound out from our presentation software to the desk and the mix from the desk comes back into OBS and everything is happy.
When it goes in to the M1 Mac, OBS can't see the sound. I have Loopback installed and that can pick up the sound coming in just fine. OBS won't see the sound through a loopback virtual thingy either. If I play a track on Youtube and pick that up in Loopback, OBS can see that, just not the sound from my desk.
This is beyond frustrating! Any clues, obvious things I've missed etc. would be greatly appreciated.
