Hi when running latest multi-platform 32 or 64 bit versions i get a blue screen of death. Using 3 x c920 Logitech.

Reinstalled OBS. Reinstalled logitech drivers.

Fixed registry.

Anyone please?

Maybe start a new "scene collection". Log file may be helpful, but OBS likely won't log much of anything if blue screen of death (BSOD) happens too soon.

Use different webcam driver version? Probably should look for Logitech help support if BSOD happens to other programs trying to use multiple webcams.

Thanks I was using it before the crash for an hour fine. Now it loads up backgrounds and text then pauses to load cams and it crashes.

Also when i go to webcam settings and click on properties window the default logitech webcam properties box comes up. If i uninstall the logitech webcam package it defaults to the built in properties obs screen with the pan and tilt etc which I want. As soon as I reboot that goes and the logitech webcam properties come up again :(

Cheers

Probably to fully uninstall the Logitech drivers, try control panel, "Uninstall a program".

Also, if device manager uninstall have a "Delete the driver software", maybe use it if not wanting that driver to come back.

You can try uninstall from control panel, but also try go to system, device manager and uninstall each Logitech webcams, maybe with "delete driver". then unplug webcams and blug it back in.

Might also have to go with deleting LVUC64.sys from "c:\windows\system32\drivers", as a driver always crashing may be worst then a missing driver. May have to do this with webcams unplugged and all Logitech webcams software uninstalled. Check device manager after uninstalling it and plugging webcam back in.

Thanks for the great idea. When i do a search for that driver it cant find it. LVUC64.sys. I will do the other steps now and report back.

Using device manager uninstall and delete, that may have removed LVUC64.sys.

If webcam don't work without a driver, try a different Logitech webcam version, maybe try newest version if you haven't yet.

OK i deleted the drivers for the 3 webcams under device manager and it works, I had to delete the cams from OBS because they were bugged and full of green.

Now the second problem I still get the Logitech Webcam properties white box which apears when you click on a webcam and select settings and configure. Problem with this its rubbish compared with the cam control that comes with OBS. Plus you change it and it affects all 3 cams. The obs is per cam.

It may be normal to only get limited control without the actual Logitech drivers. The extra controls may have been coming from Logitech drivers. If computer no longer Blue screen of death, thats good. That means the drivers was the problem.

But when you press configure under the webcam you get the built in grey box very nice obs options. Now i get the logitech default ones that I cant do anything with useless. Cant zoom or do anything because it globally adjusts each cam plus it has very limited option to the obs screen ones.

You may try using OBS-mp built in filters like color correction or crop.

I am some what out of ideas... limited control that don't crash, or driver allowing more controls that may BSOD. There might be a better or newer driver that might fix the crashing and allow more controls.

Yes there the ones i want built in grey box options like crop tilt pan etc... But they no longer come up.

They did come up when I deleted the drivers for first time only until i reboot the laptop then logitech webcam properties show up instead:)
