Question / Help Low Res / Distorted Text

Whenever I add a text file, my text is extremely distorted / low res. The font I'm using in the picture is Arial with a size 14 font. The quality of the text does not change if I shrink the text box down. Also, some of the fonts don't even show up on the screen. Any solutions? Thanks.

Arial 14 is not so big.
When you "upscale" your text drgging to bigger size you get that.

Use Arial 28 or bigger

Ah okay, I feel silly for not doing that. It worked thank you. Is there a reason why some of my fonts don't even show up though? I can use one of the fonts on my other computer running on Windows 10 but I can't see them on Windows 7.

Go to c:\Windows\fonts

Copy desired font to a pendrive

Windows 7
Double click
In the window that opens, click Install

I know how to install them to Windows, but when I choose the font in OBS and click accept. Nothing shows up on the screen.

I think I have reproduced your issue with this font

first time I see this


Fixedsys is a .fon file, not a TTF.

Fixedsys does not appear as available in MS Word too.
