Im exasperated. I dont know what to do.Ive spent countless hours and Ive messed with EVERY setting, been to dozens of support pages, and I tried the legacy client. The qualioty for the legacy client was exactly what I wanted, but the frame rate would stop every few seconds. I even downloaded an amd plugin for my obs encoder.

Nothing works. The quality is atrocious, and Im out of ideas. What do I do? I'll link below an example video and my settings or log or whatever.

  1. You have way too many game captures added. Reduce that to one.
  2. You are using an outdated AMD driver.
  3. Did you mean to downscale to 708x400? With the bandwidth you have set you should easily be able to stream your native resolution at the native framerate.
  4. Are you sure you want to stream at 30000mbit? 720p30 only requires 3500kbit to look good, 720p60/1080p30 only requires 6000kbit and 1080p60 only requires 12-16mbit.
  5. You are streaming to YouTube and YouTube transcodes content on the fly. For better quality a higher resolution is more important than a higher bitrate, but don't go too far into extremes on either. Streaming at the native resolution with the bitrate you have set should already give you decent quality.
