I am having a difficult time with OBS. I am mainly having a difficult time because when I get good settings it just fails the next time I open OBS. I am trying to say that I made a video with no FPS drops and managed to upload it with no problems, but then today my obs is dropping down to below 10 FPS when I open ROBLOX meanwhile my ROBLOX FPS is 30+. (These are the same settings I used yesterday) This is really annoying me and I'd like to know if anyone can help me. Here is my latest logs: https://obsproject.com/logs/P5hfVbQ_0-bfuETt

WIndows is 3 years out of date and has a bug in a feature that degrades OBS performance. Start by updating and read the note at the bottom of this post about Game Mode.

You only have a relatively weak integrated GPU. This is not going to be a great performer for streaming with OBS.

That said I do not see any dropped frames reported in the log. If there's a particular session where you had trouble, you should try and upload that particular log.

Thank you for the advice, and the dropped frames it says in the bottom right of my OBS. Here is a GIF that I just took after opening OBS with my ROBLOX open: https://gyazo.com/449008b2c6b41560d37856ad562f5029

In the VIew menu, open the Stats window. It will display useful information there.

The indicator you are looking at seems to say that even though you have set the video system FPS to be higher, your machine is not capable of hitting this target. One reason is that there is a bug in your version of windows that preserves GPU resources for games, which stops OBS from getting the access to the GPU it needs. If you have updated Windows please provide a new logfile.

Bottom line, though is that your GPU is not good for running games on, and also not good for trying to run games and record with OBS on the same machine.
