Question / Help Low/Inconsistent FPS in OBS, normal FPS in-game.

Hello,
Recently when I try to stream a specific select few games, namely Fortnite and Resident Evil 7, OBS will randomly fluctuate to completely arbitrary values for FPS and the stream will look horrible and choppy as a result for my viewers, but in-game I am getting a perfectly normal framerate. In fact, if I play a game that continues running whilst alt tabbed (for example, in borderless windowed mode), OBS will go back to being 60fps at all times, and the stream will look like it's running fine.
Other games, like TF2, will run fine both in-game and in OBS. I have not been able to google any other solutions to my problem.

I had the same problem when I tryed to stream Assassin's Creed Origins. These problem was resolved by unactivating Game Mode in Win10.
But now I have sluttering on the stream in Far Cry 5. Have no idea what happened. i7-8700k, GTX1070, so I think it's some kind of software problem.

You're getting rendering stalls, which suggests your GPU is being overwhelmed.

Have you tried enabling VSYNC/frame rate limiter in your game's options and/or lowering OBS encoding FPS to 30?

I have this problem here as well in Resident Evil 2 Remake. My GPU never past 70% and the stuttering and frame skipping appears only in the OBS/video. Gameplay is 60 fps in like 99% of the time.
