Question / Help Low FPS with OBS open (not yet recording)

Hello,

Whenever I open OBS, my Minecraft game no longer runs at my settings for Vsync at 60 fps - instead it hovers between 25 and 30 FPS. When I start recording it does not seem to decrease anymore but I would like to record at 60 instead of 30 FPS. Any known resolutions?

Thanks in advance! I can post my log files but the uploading process doesn't seem to be working.

You don't have a dedicated video card, which is why it's causing the FPS dips even with Vsync on.
