Okay so I'm VERY new to this whole thing so I may just be doing something obviously wrong.
My issue is that when I have my game displayed in OBS, whether it's set up as a Game Capture or a Display Capture, the FPS hovers anywhere from 7 to 14 when the game is actively being rendered, but the CPU utilization is below 30% (according to the data displayed in OBS).
I have tried downscaling the output to 1280x720, I tried changing the base canvas to 720 as well, I shuffled through a few different codecs and still no change.
Computer Specs as follows:
Processor: Intel Core i7-6500 @2.50 GHZ 2.59GHz
RAM: 12GB
GPU: NVIDIA GEForce 940MX 2GB
I don't really know anything more in depth about the specs but I'm sure I could locate the info if it's needed.
I do not currently have a log to upload but I'll generate one as soon as I can get the time to run a good test.
The issue only occurs on the OBS display, and the main screen with the game on it still runs flawlessly at the full 60 frames. Also, if I pause the game the FPS jumps right back up to 60 in OBS.
