Question / Help Low Fps streaming LoL on OBS

Spent the past 4 hours trying to get the correct settings for OBS so that i can play on a playable fps. I dont really know much about anything with tech to be honest and im on the MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015) and a 12.26 upload speed. If anyone can give me the ebst settings for me to use so that i could reach high fps itwould be appreciated!

So, few things here.

First, don't duplicate sources to other scenes. Use Add Existing.

Second, don't add audio capture sources directly to your scenes unless you are sure why you need to do that. Audio devices should be selected from Settings -> Audio instead.

Third, you should try Syphon capture for your game instead of display capture. It should be more efficient and have less impact on the game.

Lastly, your mac has a very weak CPU and no real GPU. You will need to turn settings down in OBS (and possibly the game) until they can function together, but this might not be possible on such a weak CPU.

Thank you for the reply! i was just following youtube tutorials on the audio, ive done all that now. for the syphon capture.. im not really sure how that works? although that will probablly be my best bet! is tehre any guide?

So i tried to syphone inject my League client, however it doesnt show up on the source afterwards, is there just a bug with League and syphon?

just tried to syphon my game, after doing so it works perfectly, with high fps so thank you so much for helping! however i have to inject the game everytime i go into a new game

I'm not terribly familiar with the mac side of things, but I think that's more or less expected.

The client itself can't be captured with Syphon because it's not actually a game, it's a web browser.

Yeah, looks like i have to inject the game each time i get into a new one. but everything is fixed now in terms of fps, thank you so much!
