Question / Help Low FPS on stream, hight fps IG,low CPU usage.

Hi fellow users

I'm lost, i tried to found an solution to the issue i'm confronting but actually better post a log in here and have som advices.

I'm streamming on OBS i have issues with the frames dropping on the stream. I'm not affected on the gameplay, still got my sweet 1080@60fps.

Your CPU is too weak to handle encoding while also having other programs in the background. I also have an i5 3.50GHz and i have the same issue when i use the x264.

Use NVENC h264 encoder instead and rescale the output resolution to 720p 30FPS as i assume that you are not a twitch partner yet and viewers will not be able to watch in anything lower than 1080p60 should they have great buffering. If you have a good internet upload speed like 10Mbit/s ( you can test at speedtest.net ) then you can increase the bitrate to around 6000. Anything above will not make the quality any better and only results in more buffer again. Also, for streaming, use key interval of 2.

I'm actually using NVENC h264, i've tried the x264 and as you said it's not playable. OUtpout resolution is already at 720p60fps i tried lower the fps but it's not resolving the issue.

Key interval is 2 already, have you watched the log before posting an answer? No offence just asking.

OKay i think the last one i've posted is ok to make sure i'll launch a quick stream with eh NVENC running and i post the log. Sorry for that =)

I've put the fps at 30 as you reccomended but stil same drop on stream no impact on my gameplay.

Try to set the FPS of all your browser sources to 30fps as well and make sure you have only one game capture in your scenes.

Hi! I may have found the solution, maybe you can tell me. I had enable the integrated CPU graphics for my second monitor, once disable it seems that i have no more fps loss on the stream, i'm going to confirm that tonight.

Do you think it can affect in any ways the fps on my stream?

since the last Update i also suffer low fps on stream my game fps is good my preview also looks good its just on twitch. Server change doesnt make a diference. its since the last update. how can i uninstall the last update?
