Question / Help Low fps on stream and obs

Hi guys!

I'm trying to get this working for 3 hours now. I'm trying to stream Rocket League on my laptop with 2 graphic cards which makes it tricky in some way. I have to run OBS with my Nvidia card if I want to stream with Rocket League with fullscreen on and when I alt tab the game screen goes black. It isn't my main problem though. Stream is super laggy, it;'s something around 15-20 fps. I can't get it higher in any way. When I used borderless and run OBS with intel card, after I alt tab the game it went to constant 48 fps, but only when I alt tab. So it means that it is possible for me to stream in that quality and fps. But I don't know how to enable high fps while playing on fullscreen. Any ideas?

I tried lowering stream quality to like 640x360 and lowest everything in game too but the results were the same, fps around 25-30. Weird thing is when I alt tab the game I get 48 fps on stream no problem.

Basically, it lags all the time when I have game on focus no matter what. When I use borderless, and put it out of focus i have smooth, 48 fps stream. In any other instance, I have laggy stream

I decreased every setting to lowest had like 170+ fps in game and constant 48 fps on stream. Still weird fact is that when I have borderless and alt+tab the game it goes to fluid 48fps

I feel your pain. I've been dealing with the same thing on every game I play at the moment. I get 40-50FPS in Battlegrounds but the stream is only getting like 13FPS. This is for sure a OBS problem that needs to be fixed. There must be a patch or something that will solve this problem.
