Question / Help Low FPS on OBS all of a sudden?

I posted a while ago but I still haven't seen a fix for this, it started to happen around the new OBS update a few days ago. I'll be streaming fine, 10-20% CPU usage, high fps in game (around 50-90), but my OBS will go down to streaming 20fps, I have no clue why.

For whatever reason the logs are the same, even as I just finished streaming. I tried Streamlabs OBS to see if it was the update that crapped out on me, same issue. I noticed if I switch to AMD Hardware instead of x264 it fixes it (for now) but I don't know why x264 would cause issues? I've been streaming for months, this is a new issue.
