I get about 200-400 fps in League without OBS in the background OR streaming.

When I launch OBS and stream, my fps falls below 140, varying around 90-130.

Funny thing is, my FPS remains low even after I press STOP STREAMING on OBS, but keep OBS open. FPS Stays low even after I close OBS, I have to close my league and reconnect to the current game for the FPS to go back up.

HELP.

We're speaking about this in chat now but for future reference and those who come across this thread, we do not support obs-studio-ftl. Please contact Beam for support with their fork or use the official version of OBS Studio.

Update: The solution was to disable the "multi-adapter compatibility" option in the game capture source. This option can sometimes allow for better functionality with SLI and switchable graphics laptops but falls back to using memory capture (instead of shared texture capture) which is much less efficient. Ideally users would disable both SLI and multi-adapter compatibility for best performance in OBS.
