These forums probably get flooded with these types of threats, so I'm sorry in advance.
My PC is capable of recording 1080p/60 while playing medium load games. Whenever I play a game that I should be able to run (they did on earlier versions of OBS) I get an consistent 12fps in (nearly) all of them, while they are of different levels of difficulty to run.
It doesn't matter if I'm recording or not, whenever I launch OBS this happens. Even when playing multiple games at once, in one game I run smooth, and the other I get 12fps.
This stays consistent, meaning some games will always run 12fps and other games never have any trouble when running OBS.
The attached files are
No problem: Playing Rocket League (medium load game) while recoding for about 1 min, without stutters.
Problem: Playing Papers, Please (very low load game) while recoding for about 1 min, 12fps (consistent).
In both cases I uses the same settings, in fact, I uses the same scene.
A final note:
Even when I closed OBS (game still running when OBS launched) I keep getting 12fps.
