I have a Intel Core i5-2410M 2.30GHz, 8GB Ram Windows 10 Pro 64 bit, Nvidia Geforce GT 520M Some years ago Obs it was perfect video ok 720p, also 1080 some times, now every time i have a problem with encode overloaded and the video recorded is stuttering, freeze and loss frame, audio ok. I recorded video of The Raft, Minecraft, Rainbow Six Siege, Battlefield to upload on Youtube. I have like settings in OBS: x264 1280x720 CBR bitrate 2000 ultrafast and tried verifast and 100 bitrate also, profile high crf=20, 1920x1080 rescaled 1280x720, Bilinear, 30FPS, priority high
What settings i should use?

Hi,

I think its time to retire the laptop and upgrade :-), i'm surprised it runs BF or Rainbow Siege as the spec is rearly low. The issues is the following reviewing the log

02:27:26.013: Output 'adv_file_output': Number of skipped frames due to encoding lag: 26163 (112.6%)
02:27:26.013: Output 'adv_file_output': Number of lagged frames due to rendering lag/stalls: 64 (0.2%)

I mean you could try 540p (or lower) @ 30fps (or Lower) ultrafast x264 software encoding but I can't even see that performing well tbh.

Video settings
02:11:07.348: base resolution: 1280x720
02:11:07.348: output resolution: 852x480

BUT when recording
02:12:39.764: width: 1280
02:12:39.764: height: 720
.....
02:27:26.013: Output 'adv_file_output': Number of skipped frames due to encoding lag: 26163 (112.6%)

You are rescaling and not using that.

So, leave Output settings rescale UNCHECKED to record 480p
