Although there is enough bandwidth available, OBS bandwidth indicator turn into red continusly droping most of frames.

Conditions:
  • 4g router used
  • There is no problem when streaming from VDSL landline
  • There is no problem with same 4g router on an another PC
  • OBS version: 23.2.1
Connection data:
  • Speedtest: PING ms 27 - DOWNLOAD Mbps 39.44 - UPLOAD Mbps 19.39
  • Resource monitor: obs64.exe - static.81.51.46.78.clients.your-server.de - 177,417 B/sec
  • OBS bitrate: 1.5 mbps
Nothing is changed on system level since late period of normal behaviour.

I'm stuck here not beeing able to work any more so any prompt reply would be most appreciated.

Your 4G connection is likely not stable enough for streaming. Use Twitchtest to confirm.

@R1CH Thank you for replying.
Here is the test results. Have no experience on Twitch, so I cannot "read" results.
My testing setup is as follows:
  • One 4g router
  • Two PCs are connected onto it use Ethernet cable.
  • Upload speed is metered repeatedly above 15mbps.
  • Both PCs are streaming (at 1.5 mbps) to the same rtmp server located in Germany (Hetzner), my location is in Greece.
  • The first PC is streaming with no problem, zero dropped frames.
  • The second one has not enough bandwidth (red indicator) streaming at 150-200 kbps based on Windows 10 Resource Monitor.
  • On this same second PC, Chrome is uploading to YouTube at 8-9 mbps based again on Windows 10 Resource Monitor.
Something is different on the second PC making it lowering available bandwidth for OBS specifically.

New Important information:
  • There is no problem when streaming to a known platform, for example, Facebook.
  • The problem occurs only when streaming to my own nginx rtmp server.
  • All this from a specific PC, not any PC.
I'm confused!
