Lost Sound on Monitor

I am using OBS for livestreaming our church services. My computer recently upgrade to Windows 11 by itself. Since I am losing audio on the monitor side. I have a HDMI cable exporting the livestream to a television in the control room. I have checked settings and cables. After a while I can go to the advanced audio settings and change the Monitor and Output to Monitor Off then back to Monitor and Output and the monitor sound starts working. It does not matter if I restart the computer, shut down OBS, or change the audio settings nothing works.

Windows 10 won't update to Win11 on its own. Maybe someone else clicked on Update link?
Have you considered going back to Win10 (you can downgrade)?

Microsoft's has a consistent track-record with every other desktop OS release going back to ME over 20 years ago, and true with Win11 - a total and complete mess. Just this week, MS declared Win11 ready for broad deployment (meaning they are acknowledging it was released well before it was ready) ... so I'm still avoiding it for now (maybe in another year??). There is nothing in Win11 that matters to me (and I don't have a 12th gen Intel CPU), so why risk it?

I tried to roll the update back but missed the 10 day deadline by a day or so.
It is frustrating. I use a television in the control room to verify sound mix so I cannot monitor the sound. We are going to use the same means (fullscreen projector) to send our livestream to our nursery once the cables are run. Right now it is hit or miss whether they will have sound or not.
