IN MY SYSTEM PREFERENCES, in output, when I select Multi-Output Device I lose the output volume on my computer. NO SOUND. Settings for the selected device....I get the message "The selected device has no output controls. How do I fix that?

I installed iShowU Audio Capture and followed the instructions on the website to a T. Except I'm stuck losing all sound in my system preferences

That message is not an error. An aggregate device does not have its own volume control.

If you created an output device that includes 1) iShowU and 2) Built-in Output (as in the iShowU guide screen shot) then your sound should function as usual.

If "built-in output" is not the output you usually use, then substitute the one you usually use.

If you prefer, you can avoid creating an aggregate device; simply set iShowU as your default output device, and then use the free utility LineIn to direct sound to another device so you can hear it.
