Hey guys ive been trying to stream rocket league but whenever i start to stream i will go from about 250 fps to 80 instantly. I also cant stream with 80fps just because i have 144hz monitor and it looks awful for me! here are my specs. My Gpu is a GTX980 rest of specs down below. If you need anything else just ask! Thanks

Edit:Added Obs logs from my last stream and gpu usage while streaming, Added general tab

You are getting some, if very few rendering lags and you are recording to your HDD simultaniously. You should consider trying to lower resolution to 720p and only stream and see if it gets better.

Have you elevated priority in OBS?

Elevating priority will NOT help with rendering lag.

Nor will turning off recording when streaming.

If priority is elevated that will make the game lag if resourses are going dry. And recording and streaming can cause issues idd.

And TS didnt say he had rendering lag, he has actual gameplay lag.

You have it set to automatically record while streaming in the general tab.
"simple_file_output'] Writing file 'C:/Users/Damian/Desktop/2017-02-25 18-10-52.mp4"

And how about my other questions? =)

I switched to 720 and streamed for about 5 minutes and i was getting constant 144frames. Fixed the issue! Now another question. what cpu should i get to be able to stream at full 1080p 60 fps

Nice! Well im not sure, but i guess you would need one of those new i7 either Sky Lake, or maby even Kaby Lake. Tho i dont know if might be issues in the OBS client that makes it hard to get a really high defined picture. I get the same result on my stream with my old i7 930 as i get with my newer i7 4670. Tried alot of settings and if i go with high settings it can actually look worse then with lower..

But its really not necessary to stream in 1080p. Getting a good 720p stream with 4000kbps+ (u can go all the way to 6000kbps with twitch nowdays) and good encoder settings can make a really satisfying stream. The most important thing is to get it smooth without pixelation and blur. And that is doable with 720p.

And besides, getting a crisp 1080p 60fps stream would need 12000kbps for 0.1bpp. 6000kbps almost doesnt cover perfect setting for 720p.
