Question / Help Losing FPS when i launch OBS

Hi, i am using OBS since a long time now, and every time i launch OBS i am losing FPS in my games.
About 3 to 10 FPS, without recording.

And when i record a game i lose about 10-15 FPS.

I think i have good CPU and GPU.
Intel Core i7 4790K
MSI GTX970 Gaming 4G
RAM 8 Go 1600 MHZ DDR3

And i record my game on a dedicated SSD.

Why not use NVIDIA Encoder, it will reduce CPU using.
Hey, looks like you have unused i-GPU on Intel CPU, install Intel HD Graphic and use Intel Quick Sync for recording your game :P

in OBS, Go to Setting/Output and click recording tab

Look at encoder button and choose one of these option:
AMD VCE H264 (For AMD GPU and AMD GPU support video encoder)
NVIDIA (For NVIDIA GPU)
Intel Quick Sync (For Intel i3, i5, i7 CPU and if you have eGPU but not disabled iGPU)
Or a screen capture card ????

Did you using OBS to record Source Engine games?

If only few FPS, don't care about it, just switch your encoder to NVIDIA
I use AMD GPU but record my game at 48fps 720p still good
