Question / Help Loosing my mind!

So since I haven’t been able to get a response or find any info on how to get my audio back to the way it was working a few days ago. I found a work around but only with one side of the audio signal. Taking the output and routing the audio cable back to the mic input only now OBS is crashing. How are so many people using this?

I appreciate you are frustrated by the situation but if you want help you need to ask clear questions which explain what you are trying to do, what you've tried and where you got stuck or what is not working. I have taken the time to read through your post history and it's not massively clear.

As I understand it you are using Traktor Pro to DJ and want to output that audio a Facebook Live stream (presumably with some video) and you are trying to find a way to patch the audio from Traktor to OBS?

There are a few ways to do this:
1. SoundFlower - I am unsure how well this works these days.
2. iShowU Audio Capture
3. Physically patching the audio out and back in
4. Rogue Ameba Loopback

Have you tried all of these, if so what issues have you faced, ignoring SoundFlower and physically looping the audio out?

Thank you for the reply. I’m completely new to this so it’s hard to be clear so I appreciate you trying to help.

Current components in the setup:
iMac OS 10.13 high sierra
Roland octacapture audio interface
traktor pro 3
Soundflower
Mac audio midi setup

when I had it working I had an aggregated device connecting my audio interface as my output (which I run traktor from with a midi controller) and sound flower 2 channel as my input.

I then set traktor to the aggregated device for the sound source (containing my interface and soundflower) with the main outputs at 3-4 to my speakers and headphone audio out of the stock master outs 1-2

in obs I simply set my mic aux input to my aggregated device and it worked for three streams. When I went to load up the rig for a live stream yesterday morning, obs just stopped receiving the audio from the previous settings.

OBS still recognizes my interface as well as the aggregated device but it will only allow audio through the input of my interface not the outputs. If I run the physical audio out from my interface back in to the inputs the audio comes through OBS but I lose my monitoring from my speakers so I had to split the outputs to one speaker and one running back through the audio interface. But then obs started crashing.

I didn’t use the paid options yet but when I tried to use some of the other options, some of the set backs I hit were: I could not connect them with my interface the same as I did with sound flower as a aggregated device. Since I don’t have a dedicated dj controller I have to use my interface this way. But it all worked before.

The crashing is very strange theres no reason why OBS should crash from a physical audio loop but you could try uploading an error log to see if someone more experienced can help you out...

Also can't recommend SoundFlower due to it not really being supported anymore, but if audio input is working for one device its unlikely to be OBS that is the issue here.

Also I am sort of unclear what the purpose of the multi ag audio is for, if you want two different audio devices you can do that in OBS either using Settings > Audio or by adding Audio Input layers to your Scene.

I had followed a tutorial when I got it working the first time and it called for the multi audio device. From what I read, if a source is designated as an output it won’t connect to obs so maybe you need the multi device to pair soundflower to run as an input to allow the device to send audio to the mic on Mac?? I don’t really know.

I just need a way to get what’s coming through my speakers, after my audio interface, into OBS.
If I’m doing it wrong then I need to know how to do it right.

it was such a tease having it work perfect for three streams straight and then nothing.
