Hi, everyone. Thanks for coming here and I really need helps now.
I am both a gamer and a non-professional streamer. I just got my new AMD Ryzen CPU which is so cool with 8 cores and 16 threads. There is no problem when I play the game H1Z1, record it and stream it at the same time. It is even not full-loaded when I set OBS to 1080P 60FPS with X264 Fast Preset. My GPU is the strongest GTX1070 at stock and it is only 65% used when streaming and gaming at the same time. Memory is 16G DDR4-3402MHz.
But the thing is there is no quality difference when I change it from veryfast to higher preset. But the CPU load increases when I get to higher preset.
I used fast preset to record a demo of the game H1Z1 and the CPU was 75%-80% loaded(Fast, 1080P, 60FPS). But when I checked the recorded video demo, I found that it was not really high quality. Motion blur is a problem and I want to fix it.
I tried "NVIDIA GeForce Share" to record the game and the recorded video quality is much better than using OBS.
How can I fix it? I want to keep using X264 encoder because that's why I got my new Ryzen?
How can I improve the recording quality? Can I use something like x264 options or other ways?
