hey maties,
I was recently getting into streaming and my CPU(AMD FX 6100 six core) was already causing problems with overheating and it now has broken down completely. I therefor am looking for a replacement.
Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3 motherboard,
corsair cx 500w power supply,
Nvidia 680 GTX GPU and 8 gigs of ram.
I will most likely want to spend around 350€ on my new hardware but I think that I'll have to replace the motherboard for a more efficient CPU that improves my streaming quality. I also am using two monitors. I am purchasing my components in Germany.
The main game I'll be streaming is Heroes of the Storm(which runs on the SC II engine and my CPU does not like that at all - another reason for a replacement).
What I've gathered so far is that I should stick to an intel processor(i7), because AMD has lower IPC. I am browsing amazon for multiple suggestions of this thread https://www.reddit.com/r/Twitch/comments/47pzi9/best_cpu_for_streaming but all of the options seem "very expensive".
I appreciate any suggestion, cheers
