Logo Overlay Question

I have a livestream where I stream pool (billiards) matches. How can I overlay a sponsor’s logo on the playing surface without having it cover up the pool balls rolling on the table? This would be similar to the first down marking being overlayed on the field in an American football game.

I use to stream pool matches (I miss it) and this is what I did with a 1 non-moving camera setup:
1. Clear everything off the table and a screenshot in OBS with camera aimed at the table.
2. Set that screenshot as the bottom layer.
3. Put the logo(s) above the screenshot in the layer sequence.
4. The camera should be at the top of layers and then use a Chroma key filter on the camera source set to the color of the cloth.

Do not move the camera.
