Logitech BRIO, 4K and 60fps Missing

So I've looked for a few hours at this point, trying to find a solution. I have found many solutions... but none of them have worked.

I bought a BRIO which arrived today, and immediately installed it. Went to add it to OBS and found that the option for 1440p and 4K were missing from the Resolution menu. Weird, but I wasn't planning to use 4K anyway, only 1080p60.

So I set it to 1080p, and went to select the FPS. Well... only 30fps was available. This sparked hours worth of finding out what could be causing this, with little to no success.

I installed LogiTune and updated the BRIO firmware, which had no effect.

I found a "solution" which involved changing the Format to MJPEG, then Deactivate, then Reactivate the camera. This did not work in the slightest. Still no 60fps, still no 4K.

I also tested with Windows Camera app. Same deal. Only goes up to 1080p30. I installed Logitech Capture to see what that would show. In that, I can select 60fps at 1080p, but the option for 4K is STILL missing.

I've tried several USB-C cables, including the original cable that came with the BRIO. I've tried the front USB3.2 ports and the rear USB3.2 ports, still nothing. And if I input the 4K resolution manually, like Logitech suggests. all I get is a black screen.

It feels as though Logitech literally FORGOT to implement 1440p and 4K resolutions into this camera. I realise this may be a problem that goes beyond just OBS, but does anyone have any idea, or has anyone experienced this before? If I can fix it within OBS, it might fix it other places as well.

Thanks!

Seriously? We can't edit our posts??

Also, I was testing with LogiTune, the Video Preview Quality. I can select 2K or 4K, but when I back out of the Video Quality settings, it just resets back 1080p.

I don't know about you lot, but I feel as though the Ultra HD settings on this camera are SERIOUSLY busted and need fixing.

Another quick update.. I did notice this. I was looking for a way to see what speed the USB was connecting at, to see if it was running at full UBS3.0 speeds (my motherboard has USB3.2 ports) and noticed that the camera says it can perform better when connected to a USB3/0 port.

Well, it IS connected to a USB3.0 port! If you take a look at the screenshot, you can also see my SanDisk Data Traveller USB drive, connected to the same front USB3.2 ports at the BRIO, and it DOES show it's connected via USB3.0... so why doesn't the BRIO?

Hey, I just came across this thread and I think I'm running into the exact same issue. Have you managed to figure out how to fix it? Actually, in my case, it was working when I replaced the original cable with another one (USB C 3.1 gen 2 cable that transfers at 10mbps) and hooked it up to my laptop. The problem only occurred again when I plugged the Brio webcam into an external monitor that has USB 3.2 ports (of course using that new cable), which I really don't understand this time.

If this helps other people finding this thread: I had a similar problem with the 4K option missing when I had two HD cameras plugged into the same USB hub. I don't know why it didn't just say something useful instead of simply removing the option (or better let the option get selected and then deal with whatever contention occurs, because that at least would have been a clue)

Still can't get OBS to select 60fps at 4K though
