Logic Pro X Audio Issues -- Big Sur, MBP 2019 16", 32GB RAM

Hello fellow OBS users,
I am currently having an issue with Audio input..

Current system for routing audio consists of using my MBP Built-In Mic for Recording my voice but alongside that taking the audio feed from Logic Pro X (10.6.1) to my external interface (M-Audio M-Track 2x2 USB-C) for monitoring, and to OBS (26.1.0) for recording using an "aggregate device" setup in MacOS's built-in Audio MIDI Setup utility.

After a few minutes of recording audio output from Logic and my MBP mic simultaneously, the audio from Logic becomes very pixelated and "crunchy", almost as if it were clipping somewhere (which it isn't). I think it sounds like a sample rate issue, or a buffer size issue but I wondered if anyone had any ideas for solving it.

I have also seen some people talking about how Big Sur is currently not recommended but my MBP shipped with Big Sur and Apple Stores are closed so I cannot downgrade the software due to the T2 Security Chip.

Thoughts on a postcard?

Thanks in advance, smarter people than me,

M
