Logging in Files from computer is an issue

I seek advise about successful loading of files such as MS Excel, MS Word & like many more.
I have experiened prublem while logging in with MS Excel files. Every time, I try, I am certain time successful, while unsuccessful at other times.
What is exact procedures to open such files for share during live video?
What is limitation of number of files that can be shared at a time?

Yes to the above... presuming using single monitor
- the challenge is when using a Window Capture Source, is OBS Studio knowing that what you are opening is the window you intended to be using as a source

An alternative is to use Display/Screen Capture on a second (or whatever) monitor, [trying to operate OBS Studio and do Display/Monitor Capture on single monitor can get frustrating real quick]
- Use the entire Physical Monitor as a Capture source, then typically anything you display on that Monitor would go into OBS Studio... no need to think about which application/file
