i use NV12 709 full
or is that because one of my sources is wrong color range?

found it - OBS doesnt like mit 4:4:0 or 4:4:4 jpgs

what color format to use to not trigger that error?

for all that are bothered by this: i now encode my pictures as ".webp" and i dont have that error anymore :)

lossy format Google made for the web in 2010. Webp. I looked it up. Guess it is not loved by those who are not fond of Google. Which is a lot of people these days. But if it makes the works in OBS I guess that's the main thing.

.webp is actually a good format, yet jpegxl is even better - but most sites today use ".webp"
