Update 10/13/2016---> I have deleted the log file from github because it seems I must wait for OBSproject to update their Mac version which should, hopefully, be done in the next month or so. Thank you to those who looked at my file and tried to help.

Update 8/11/2016
->Here is my log file when I tried to stream again tonight.

https://gist.github.com/f392a99be73e64a031777d5ed96a37b2 [Deleted as of 10/13/2016]

Original post from July 24, 2016: I have read all the FAQs, followed instructions and even tried submitting my log file to the Log Analyzer, to no avail. It says it "does not appear to be a complete OBS log. Please make sure you include the entire file." Which I have. Weird.

I had no problem with streaming video of any games: Heroes of the Storm, Minecraft, World of Tanks until this last update. I had been having audio trouble prior to this update in July - had it finally set perfectly then went in the next day & in-game audio wouldn't work at all. I didn't change a thing.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

Ok, I tested Display capture and it works that way but I don't like that at all. I don't like people seeing my entire display as I work through all my open windows: starting to stream, checking Twitch dashboard/chatroom then getting into the game. It's awfully messy.

I'm hoping if it works for Display, that will tell you why Game Capture is no longer working? Yes?

Game Capture does not work for all apps.

You can crop the display capture to only the part of the screen you want. (Right click, filters, add filter, crop/pad)

If Game Capture was working on these same games before, and the games did not update, but OBS did, and now it does not work, it may be caused by a bad preference file. Try throwing out ~/Library/Application Support/obs-studio.

Hi Narcogen,

Sorry for getting back to you so late. Been frustrated w/this issue. I got rid of the Black Screen of Nothing to an effervescent screen of the purple/blue of the background of Heroes of the Storm but that's it!! No other graphics of the game show up in my stream. Isn't that bizarre?

Oh, and I tried what you suggested and threw out ~/Library/Application Support/obs-studio. Didn't make a difference. I uninstalled and reinstalled OBS. No difference.

I tried cropping the Display Capture but can't seem to get it to work. I have no options of what you mention: Right click, filters, add filter, crop/pad. ?? I'm fairly tech-savvy so I don't think I'm missing anything but you never know. Display Capture simply isn't a good option for me. :(

I tried cropping to Window via OBS: Display Capture Options>Crop>Window>Heroes of the Storm but it still has all other windows showing over top of Heroes within the OBS screen and thus, the stream (have HotS in window mode while I play with this). And Window Capture isn't good for streaming--OBS doesn't recommend it.

Yes, Game Capture was working just fine and I finally got the audio just right when the next day, my audio was off again and then this happened. Never the same again. And yes, Game Capture worked with all my games before this particular patch. All games are updated.

Many thanks for trying to help me. I think I'll just have to wait for the new mac update...if there will be one? : /
