There's no output session in that log.

1080p downscaled will not look as sharp as 1080p native, especially if you're capturing smoothed on-screen fonts.

i did and then it only captures part of the screen, before i had it set to 4k, thats where i got the overload since i cant use my Nvidia gpu. so i dialed down the base and output to the same but the full display isnt capturing now obviously with the base set to 1920 when its 4k. so almost half is cut off on the capture. any ways to tweak that?

After changing the canvas size you need to resize your sources to fit the screen. You can right click each, choose Transform from the dropdown menu and choose "fit to screen"

Text is going to be blurry if you have to downscale. Your four-year old, minimum spec Intel GPU couldn't handle running OBS at your default resolution of 3840x2160. (It's strong enough to run your desktop, but not strong enough to run your desktop *and OBS*.

If you want to record or stream 1080p without downscaling you should set your display to that resolution (1080p).

Downscaling for convenience or performance issues is very usual, it's just that most video content (like games) canbe downscaled with slight softening and this is not a major issue. For a high resolution screen with a lot of small text and straight lines (charts and graphs) that would very likely look pretty bad.

You either need to compose your frame for a smaller resolution or get a stronger GPU.
