When I'm not streaming I still would like to record shows to a hard drive. I tried last night using a mp4 compression with mixed results. For the most part it was fine, altho any fast movement(like the drummer) would result in horizontal lines thru the video. From anyone's experience, what would be a good starting point for settings? Mp4 or .mov? Apple h.264 encoder or generic? Re-scale output or not? Simple or advanced? I noticed the with the simple even tho you have fewer choices, one of them is lossless. I do have a 1tb 7200rpm Barracuda drive at my disposal, would this be best for a 2hr rock show?
