I am looking to livestream to Youtube using OBS on a weekly basis.
Currently, I have a i5, 8gb ram, 1.8 GHz laptop which I want to use for streaming to start out with, but am planning to get a get a better computer later on if necessary.
I have a 4k camcorder and CamLink which I will use for the livestream, and I would like to get the best quality video out of it as possible (1080p at least)
Could anyone tell me what hardware requirements I should look for in a computer to smoothly livestream 4k video to Youtube, without any frames dropped, or video buffering?
I also am in the market for a router to support the high level streaming requirement.
I found that I'll need an upload speed of 61.5 Mbps to stream 4k at 60fps to Youtube. I'm not very clear on how that translates to what speed I will need in order to livestream 4k 60fps to Youtube smoothly, does anyone know what router I should look for for this situation?
