I run three live streams to YouTube 24/7 365. So I'm just confused on the setting for " restart playback when it comes active" because whether I check that or uncheck that the stream never becomes active again. So I can do firmware updates on the camera and whether I have that checked or not checked the stream never becomes active again?
So again I've been dealing with this for about 3 years now I am not sure why or how to make streams become active if we have any issues.
I use Cam streamer on a couple of my cameras and that's very reliable the cameras always become active again if anything goes down and when it comes back up they become active I don't have to worry about that they're 100% reliable.
But obs doesn't restart any of my streams I don't know what to check or uncheck regardless what I check they don't start any of the streams. I have access cameras streaming through obs server so when they go down or I do firmware updates or whatever they never start again observer regardless of whether I check " restart playback when it comes active" or not check it, so just wondering why or what what the purpose is I mean when the cameras come back online they need to refresh and come back online with observer and they don't regardless whether I check that or don't check that so I hope you guys know what's going on I hope I'm not the first one to chime in about this it's pretty important thing when cameras go down come back up it should come back online and it does not whether that's checked or not checked.
I just have to reiterate how big of a deal this is for me the cameras that I run on camstream run perfectly 24/7 365 if the Internet goes down they'll come back up I don't have to worry about it.
But using obs server I have to stay home I can't go anywhere I have to babysit it because if anything goes down I have to be here to reestablish the connection. I really just wanna let you guys know I would love for you to be able to fix this and make this happen as I've been running a channel now for three years and I have to be home to babysit observer there's no way I can leave I have to be here to restart connections.

So if you guys can do anything to help me or help fix this I would love it because I would love to be able to leave my house and have my camera stream on observer and at this point I've never been able to do that for me observer is a nasty friggin thing it's unreliable none of my cameras will ever restart I have to be here to babysit it 100% of the time I hope we can solve that in the future so I don't have to be here to babysit my obs server.
I was so happy to do my overlays and everyone loved my new screen and then I realized I was screwed because I have to babysit this server every day 24/7 365 I cannot leave I can't go anywhere so I hope we can fix this it's a major major major thing for me to not have everything reconnect automatically.
And FYI I have over 300,000 subscribers on my channel so I need things to be reliable. I've spent over $30,000 on my channel so to have this unreliability from observers is really really tough for me. I have to babysit it every day all day long and it shouldn't be that way. I have 3 camera feeds going into it they should be able to restart automatically everything should be able to restart automatically.
