Live streaming and recording is lagging

Hi folks.
When I record something in OBS (playing and singing songs mainly), the results are fine. But when I simultaneously record the audio in Logic Pro or stream live, the result is a lagging video or live stream.
I use a Mac Mini 2018 with 32 gb ram.
1080 and 60fps. 6000 kbps. X264 software encoding set to ‘faster’.
What goes wrong? Do I need an external hardware encoder?

What are you doing for real-time hardware resource utilization monitoring (ie making sure you aren't overloading the CPU / internal GPU)

And for music playing/signing, why 60FPS? Unless wanting slow motion for guitar fingering work or similar? have you considered dropping to 30FPS to avoid system overload?

I have a separate mixer with a monitor. Doesn’t run through the mac. I use 1 channel in OBS. I will try 30 fps. Maybe it will help. Thanks!
