Question / Help Live streaming 24/7 on a dedicated server?

Hello i wonder how some youtube channels can live stream 24/7 i tried to install
OBS on my.dedicated server, but it doesnt let me because it doesnt have a GPU
How do these channels can livestream 24/7 then?

It depends on the application and the source of their streaming content.

Those that use OBS, they can lease out a dedicated GPU hosted server running Linux or Windows. This is not a cheap option and can easily be $1000+ USD/month.

You don't have to use OBS Studio to live stream to YouTube though. You can lease a dedicated Linux server and run RTSP server software on it to communicate with YouTube Live.
