Question / Help Live Stream Keeps Cutting Out

Hey everybody!
I've been streaming on YouTube for almost a year now.
Yesterday, the stream started lagging, and so I stopped it, because I saw the bitrate bar on OBS was red. I tried lowering it by 500 KBPS and restarting, but the same problem happened a little while later. I then stopped the stream, restarted the modem and router, and started the stream again. I didn't have anymore problems after that.
Today, a little bit of lag started about 15 minutes into the stream, and then OBS just straight up disconnected and attempted a reconnect. I called the ISP up, and they had me reboot the equipment again. I started the stream back up, again lowering the bitrate another 500 KBPS, and sure enough, 15 minutes later, the same thing happened.
I can't figure out what is causing this, because I have never had these problems before. Does anyone have any idea what might be the problem?
I stream at 14700 KBPS bitrate usually, with 320 KBPS audio bitrate. My internet speed is 20,000-21,0000 KBPS, so I don't think that is the problem, especially since I already tried lowering it to 12,900 KBPS.

Also, before posting this, I tried once more with 10,900 bit rate, which is slightly more than half my upload speed. Still a lot of dropped frames, and it wasn't consistent either.

Here's a link to my OBS logs from my stream attempts this afternoon if that helps:

Thank you everyone so much for your help!

According to the log, the problem is the network.

At 15:10 OBS can no longer reach the ingest server, at at 15:11 it tries to reconnect and cannot even perform a DNS lookup. As far as OBS can see, at that moment there's no internet connection available.

I would suspect your ISP is detecting heavy upload and resetting your connection, possibly?

I would try a more dramatic test; drop to a rate of 5000 and see if the problem still occurs. But presuming your local network is working properly and you're not trying to use wireless, I'd say you need to inquire with your ISP's support department.

Hey there!

Thanks for the suggestion mate! I actually finally figured it out earlier today.

I don't where it came from or what caused it, but there was a bug in Windows that seemed to interfere with the network connection. It started messing with other websites, which is how I discovered it.

Resetting my PC fixed it. I already ran a test stream to double check, and at 14700 KBPS, not a single frame was dropped.

It was a little annoying having to reinstall my software, but that's okay.

Thanks for your help!

Resetting the PC usually means: turn if off and on again. Save any unsaved work, close all programs and on Windows:
Start menu, Power, Shutdown

Based on the fact that he had to reinstall software to eliminate a windows-level bug, I'd say that "resetting" in this instance actually meant doing a clean install.
