Hello there, today is my first time using OBS software and I am trying to live broadcast my online betting account screen on YouTube privately to my brother so he can follow the live in-play games I bet on. So far, my live streaming is about 1 minute lagging behind as compared to the gaming company website live-in-plays. In addition, the quality of my streaming is poor and keeps buffering. My output video is 1920 x 1080, Base resolution is 1920 x 1080, encoder x264, bitrate 2500kbps. My internet speed: Ping ms 13, Download 61.40 Mbps and Upload 21.31 Mbps. CPU Usage preset is set at ultrafast. I do have a dinosaur PC (Windows 7, Intel(R) Pentium (R) CPU G620T A 2.2GHz, 4.0GB Ram and64-bit OS) Please I would some experts here to give some information on how to go about this issue as I would like to achieve real-time live streaming interaction. Thanks in advance mates!

Use Tools->Auto Configuration Wizard to let OBS check the performance of your machine and generate a suitable baseline configuration.

Hi Koala, thanks for the info. I did that however it did not work and live steam video output is about 45 seconds to a 1 minute lagging.
