linux obs and razer kiyo

hello all,

first time here, did a search and found similar problems, though the answers didn't help me.

running arch linux, and I have a razer kiyo which works in zoom, and with mpv. however, when I run obs studio, I added a capture device, my kiyo is listed, however, nothing is displayed.

I am new to obs, and I've updated system, rebooted, verified the kiyo works in other apps, and no video in obs.

what are some things I can look at to help resolve this?

doing some more testing...
tried downgrading to the previous package, that is no help.

from within OBS sources, under properties for my video capture device, it's showing
usb-0000:02:00.0-1.1.1.4

and when I do lsusb:
Razer Kiyo (usb-0000:02:00.0-1.1.1.4):
/dev/video0
/dev/video1

I'm not sure why it's /dev/video0 and video1. can someone clarify this?
