I record legal proceedings on OBS that take place on Zoom. For redundancy, I have two computers logged in using separate connections. Part of the process is to pause and resume recording, sometimes frequently. To simplify the process, I'm looking for a way to have the second computer follow the first in terms of Record, Pause Record, Resume Record, Stop Record. That's it. No scene switching or operational verification needed.
Master would be an M2 Studio, slave would be an M1 MacBook. Both are on the same LAN. Currently using OBS 27.2.4
It seems like WebSockets might have the potential to do this, but I'm lost with either a lack of documentation that I can follow and scripts that are far more complex than I need and can't quite follow.
Is there a bare bones solution out there? Is anyone doing this and would like to share how they managed it? Maybe the answer is right in my face and I'm just missing it?
Many thanks!
