Question / Help Limiting frame rate when switching scenes

I’m not sure if this is doable but what I’m trying to accomplish is this...

I use an el gato capture card as a video source. It’s currently capturing at 60fps. When I switch to a different scene i want the FPS to drop to 24 FPS.

Since I’m using the same capture device the 60fps settings are still set. I tried making a separate capture device for the card and set it to 24 FPS but that makes the original capture card source no longer work.

Any ideas if there is a way to limit the frames for this device when switching to a new scene?

Nope, not possible. Video device drivers are exclusive; you can add multiple instances of a video source to different scenes, but those instances will share the same settings.

If you make a new source pointed at the same device with different settings, invoking that one will make the first one stop functioning.
