Limitation on number of USB-Webcams they can used with OBS in parallel

Dear experts,

it seems for me that the number of USB-Webcams they can used in OBS Studio is limmited to 3 webcams, right? or is it a bug?

I have 3 now and pretty sure I have had 4 at one time..
I believe the problems lie with bandwidth.

There is no webcam limit in OBS. There is probably a limit of the USB bandwidth of your computer. To maximize the number of webcams, make sure they go into different controllers and different hubs to distribute the usb load. Don't put all webcams behind a single USB hub.

Then make sure you distribute your cameras over the available controllers and root hubs.

Hey guys, you are so right! I pull out the last one from the USB hub and take it in another port that was used by somthing I dont need. Now all cams are now in OBS. I will buy a internal USB card to expand the USB bandwidth.
