Hi Everyone,
So I wanted to get OBS working with my Avermedia LGP capture card. But I installed OBS 18.0.1 and while my capture card is on the list, the resolution is stuck at default and it is saying 720x480. I cannot adjust it, and if I try to set a custom resolution it goes to a black screen.
I figured I would try to get OBS stream engine working to see if that would help it, and OBS couldn't detect it. I then downgraded to 17.0.2 and reinstalled stream engine and everything worked fine. I could find it on the list, my playback was fine, it was full 1080p. But then I went to open OBS studio again today and stream engine was nowhere to be found. I reinstalled all my drivers for avermedia multiple times, and tried different versions, nothing seems to be able to detect it.
I have even closed chrome and skype like many recommended, and nothing seems to be working. OBS studio simply is not detecting my stream engine. Also, I have tried 32 bit OBS as well, and had no luck.
Does anyone know why Stream engine cannot be detected? or at the very least why my LGP under OBS says it is stuck at 720x480 resolution?
I appreciate the help in advance guys, I really wish I could get this working.
