Bug Report lavfi input stopped working after 19 -> 20 upgrade

I've been heavily using lavfi generators (i.e. testsrc, testsrc2, sine) for stream testing using Media Source input. They worked well on versions prior to 20.x, but stopped since then. Logs show no errors when the source is added., however I can see

10:03:16.995: MP: Failed to seek: Invalid argument

now and then. Any ideas what has changed?

EDIT: This seems not Mac specific, I see the same behavior on Windows.
